Schaberstein is a sans serif family that reinterprets the typeface, Steinschaber, used by the first printer in Geneva. With six weights, ranging from regular to black, this family offers a unique voice with its distinctive letter forms. Whether in headlines or in longer passages of text, Schaberstein retains a good legibility and strong identity. With a full latin character set and the Opentype features, the typeface can be further expanded to a wide range of languages or applications. This family is available as a Variable font or as individual weights. This typeface and the secondary family, Steinschaber, are part of the Forgotten Printer collection that aims to celebrate the work and life of Adam Steinschaber who introduced printing to the city.
